Well done to all riders who took part in Saturday’s distance challenge. This was our third distance challenge of the season and as always it’s a great way for riders to see their progression both within the season and across multiple seasons.
Conditions were a bit mixed but it at least stayed dry and there were quite a number of personal bests. Particular mention must go to our new riders who were doing this activity for the first time and to those who stepped up to the next distance. We know it’s a tough activity but it gives you a benchmark that you can now track your progress against over time, PLUS it allows us to now calculate our Most Improved Riders for the end of season awards! The coaches were really impressed with all of your efforts so well done everyone!
Results are available on our Distance Challenge page, just click the link to the Inner Ring or 10 Mile TT sheet depending on which session you attended.
All rides have been given Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum status against the club’s Distance challenge standards.
Well done to all riders, and a big thankyou to all the adults who helped with track sweeping, lap counting and marshalling, we couldn’t do it without you!
