Bike audit session on Sat 5th Nov

Saturday 29th October is the final coached session of the season at Preston Park. However we are (sort of) extending the season by 1 week so that on Sat 5th November we can have a big end-of-season bike stock-take in the containers, 10.30 to 12.00. Anyone who wants to will be welcome to come and help sort out and assess the bikes, and label up those needing maintenance over the winter. Volunteers will need a basic knowledge of bike maintenance, to help assess the condition of the bikes.

PPYCC members are welcome to ride around the track while we are doing this, however please note that the track will be open to the general public. We will have one club coach on the track just to make sure all riders are safe, so that volunteers at the container don’t have to worry about their children. But as this is not a formal coached session, a parent/guardian must be on-site for the duration.

If you would like to keep your loan bike over the winter then please email (chair@ppycc.org.uk) the bike serial number (turn the bike upside down, the number will be on the underside of the frame, on the bottom bracket shell) so we can cross reference against our records, thankyou!
