You may remember a few months ago we posted an article about Tessie Reynolds, a young woman from Brighton who rode the Brighton – London – Brighton double in record time in 1893, an action which caused outrage among the establishment at the time and is now regarded as a milestone for women’s rights.
She’s back in the news this week, as you can now vote to rename a major London cycle route in her honour. The main London cycle routes are being renamed and one of the options for the C6 is the “Reynolds Route”.
You can cast your vote to honour this pioneering Brighton cyclist at https://action.wearepossible.org/page/71180/survey/1
Voting ends on Nov24, you have 24 hours!
