We are very excited to announce that PPYCC has received funding of £3,709 from the Co-op Local Community Fund. A contribution of one penny in every pound spent at the Co-op meant that a staggering £15 million was raised across the UK and given to local causes.
We would like to thank all Co-op members who voted for PPYCC as their chosen cause during the past year, it means a tremendous amount to us. The money will be spent on improvements that will benefit the local community, including a new PA system for youth and adult racing events at the velodrome, new coaching session equipment for Saturday morning youth sessions, and improvements to the bike loans pool to enable us to support more local families with free bike loans, an important part of making entry to our sport as inclusive as possible.
We look forward to having some new equipment ready for the season start in March!
