We’re looking forward to better weather this weekend, quite a few riders got a thorough drenching last weekend, well done to all who turned out!
Inner Ring will be on road bikes tomorrow as normal, and it’s a taster session so there will be a group of new riders coming along, I know all our riders will make them feel very welcome!
Outer Ring will be on track bikes. Unlike last month though, we cannot let Inner Ring track riders into the OR session as there will be more older riders this weekend and the pace will be higher. Hopefully Inner Ring riders interested in track riding are getting plenty of practice on Wednesday nights at SCRL though! Any Outer Ring riders who are not track accredited yet are welcome to come along and our coaches will fit you up with a track bike and get you started on your pathway to track accreditation.
Don’t forget that next Sunday (21st May), PPYCC are hosting the National Youth Omnium Series at Preston Park. We have 14 PPYCC riders competing in a field of 68 riders from across the southern half of the UK and are looking forward to a sunny day of exciting youth racing! If you’re not racing or volunteering, do come along from 10am as a spectator to provide support if you’re free.
