We are excited to be hosting Round 3 of the National Youth Omnium series at Preston Park on Sunday 21st May. This is our biggest annual event and provides a great opportunity for those of our riders who are regulars at the Wednesday night SCRL track league to get a taste of regional-level racing at their home track. We already have many of the core volunteer and race official roles filled but we do also need a supporting cast of volunteers for this major event which is the club’s primary annual fundraiser. Available roles include marshalls and gate keepers, time keepers and rider holders, gear checker, tea and coffee helpers. Roles are available either throughout the day or for shorter stints. Before racing starts at 10am, it would also be great to get helpers for venue set up and sweeping from 8am.
