Finally it looks like we have decent weather for the weekend so Saturday’s session at Stanmer will be going ahead. We will meet at 10.00 as usual by the cafe kiosk near the entrance and will ride as a group along the off-road path to the field behind Stanmer House where we will run the session.
Feedback from the previous CX sessions at Stanmer was that 2hrs was a bit long for the younger ones, so we will aim to be back at the kiosk at 11.30 instead.
It sounds like some parents may be up for a social ride around Stanmer Park too, which older club members may also wish to join with parental permission. So you’re spoilt for choice this weekend!
There is a London/South East CX league race on Sunday at Herne Hill that some of our riders will be at, so on Saturday we will just aim to keep everyone moving and warm doing fun and skills based work but nothing too strenuous so we don’t wear anyone out for Sunday!
