PPYCC is once again hosting round 3 of the Regional Track Omnium series on Sunday May 21st.
For those of you not familiar with the Omnium, it can be best described as a decathlon for track cycling. There will be five events for each age category – Time Trial, Elimination Race, Scratch Race, Sprint and Points race. Points are awarded for your position in each race
All PPYCC members that hold a BC licence are welcome to enter, we have age categories from Under 8’s through to Under 16’s, boys and girls.

It will be a fun filled day of racing with prizes in all categories. Charlie from Infinity Foods will be supplying catering. Last year was a great success with many PPYCC members making the podium.
The day cannot run successfully without support from our members and parents. We ask that those that can help on the day contact Paul Wilson on paul@upgradebikes.co.uk
Please note: Under 8’s and under 10’s categories can use a normal bike but the gearing will be restricted on site [ask a club coach if you are unsure about this]. All other age categories will need to be on a fixed wheel track bike. The age categories can be> misleading, so please refer to the table below to ensure you enter the correct category.
