We’d like to say a big congratulations to two of our PPYCC riders, Dylan and Josh, both featured in the photo above when they started out with the club.
Dylan Hicks (pictured left) has been announced this week as one of the new additions to the Team GB Senior Track Endurance squad. This tops an impressive year in which he gained two bronzes at the European Junior Track Championships, a win at the Junior CICLE Classic and a string of impressive results both at home and abroad.
Josh Golliker (also pictured to the far right of Dylan) has had a phenomenal season, winning several British National Junior Series races and the prestigious La Ronde Des Valees junior stage race in France, followed by 3rd in the Junior Tour of Wales. Notably, as an U14 and U16 rider, Josh had glandular fever for 2 consecutive years which meant he was off the bike for months and unable to race, but he stuck with it and through hard work and determination is now one of the top juniors in Europe and has been rewarded with a pro contract with World Tour team, Groupama FDJ Conti.
