Racing and club activities for the week beginning Monday 28th April [non-standard club session]

Racing opportunities this week are in full swing and a sample of what riders can take part in are listed below. However we would like to bring to your attention the non-standard arrangements for next Saturday [see further below] and encourage you to race at Hove Park on Friday.

Monday: Angmering youth road racing series [a weekly event]

Tuesday: youth road racing at Goodwood [from May] or Brighton Excelsior 10 mile time trial for 14 years and over. [both weekly events]

Wednesday: Preston Park track league

Thursday [relax]

Friday: This year VC Jubilee will be running 4 races at the Hove Park Circuit on Friday evenings. The dates are, 3rd May, 7th June, 12th july, 2nd August. On other evenings there is track bike training at Preston Park from 18.30 – 20.00.

Races will start in the usall manner from 19:00. Sign on & gear check opens at 18:15. The course will be open to warm up on when it is all sign posted and marked out.

This Saturday sees the return of the Go Ride Distance Challenge, the second of four of these events this season, which is open to any riders members or non-members. To assist you in negotiating the morning with your family please note the format and timings of the racing and other activities below.

The Go Ride racing Distance Challenge event has multiple start times and a £3 entry fee so we will not be running our normal new signing on procedure at this session.
