We are delighted that three PPYCC members took part in the Track National Championships last week at the Geraint Thomas velodrome in Newport, Wales. Members Josh Golliker, Freddy Newman and Lukas Nerurkar were present racing between them in disciplines including the Scratch, Points Time Trial, Pursuit and Madison. Congratulations to them for their attendance in what is a fierce racing arena.
Stand out performances include Freddy and Lukas making it through the heats of the Under 16 Scratch race, with 60 entrants, to the final where they came 8th and 9th respectively.
Lukas is currently our highest ranked rider in the National Rankings being placed at 23rd. The rankings show 400 riders with points this season, those without points do not show in the rankings. We have 4 riders in the top 100 these being Lukas Nerurkar, Josh Ballinger, Dylan Hicks and Freddy Newman.
