At Herne Hill on Sunday there was some brilliant riding from all the PPYCC riders with Noah coming second in the Youth B boys [despite feeling under the weather].
In the Youth C event Rahul Fortescue Talwar and Freddie Newman were particularly pleased with their improvement after the Welwyn Omnium, with Rahul coming 5th, and Freddie 8th in the Youth C category. Rahul has put in time and thought to his riding and tactics, and it really showed yesterday with a huge improvement in his TT (improving from 22nd at the Welwyn Omnium to 8th at Herne Hill), and a best placing of 3rd in the Elimination. Lukas Nerurker had a fantastic time trial, coming 5th, but his Omnium inexperience meant he found it harder to perform in the long races, but hopefully he will feel better prepared for the Preston Park Omnium on Saturday 14th.
The girls, Izzy Stone, Olivia Chadwick and Georgina Burnett, all raced well  and against some very strong competition.
It was also noted that our riders showed high levels of support for their team mates when they were spectating.
