British Cycling are starting the 2022 season with a series of 6 club cluster sessions at Lee Valley Velopark on 14th April, 28th April, 26th May, 9th June, 23rd June and 7th July. These are all on Thursday evenings at 7-9pm. For those new to Club Clusters, these are regional coaching sessions open to any members of cycling clubs in the region who want to develop their racing skills, practice coach-led racing and have an opportunity to train with riders from other clubs.
British Cycling are looking for 32 riders aged 10-16 and who can ideally commit to at least 4 out of the 6 sessions. The aim of the sessions is to develop a cohort of riders that will eventually progress into either Development Centres and/or Lee Valley Track League through achieving their indoor track accreditation. There will be novice, intermediate and advanced groups in each session and each group will have a clear progression of skills and a criterion in order to develop over the series.
Each session lasts 2 hours and will cost £14. Please register your interest at the links below, however, this is not guaranteed acceptance of a place. Riders will be reviewed and successful applicants notified at least 2 weeks before the session.
