The London League CX team champs race is coming up (February 13th) and entries are open.
Taking place at Ardingly showground, they are expected to use the similar course to previous team champs. That is, not the usual areas used for league races, but incorporating not just mud but some speedy tarmac sections as well as various parts of the show-jumping areas, including the by-now-famous sand barn!
Full details are available at http://www.londonxleague.co.uk/team-champs/ but in brief:
- There are two races for youth riders: U8/U10/U12 and U14/U16
- Teams can be made up of 3 or 4 riders
- Teams made up of 1st claim members of a single club are eligible for the team prizes in 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Or you can enter as a composite team (club affiliation does not matter) for which there is a 1st place only prize.
- Any riders without a team can still enter and will be made up into composite teams on the day with other riders.
Entries are first come first served, so if we want to enter one or more teams we should get organised.
