The last Sunday in October for a few years now has seen both the PPYCC hill climb and the Sussex Nomads Ditchling Beacon Hill Climb organised by Preston Park cycling volunteer Alex Beyfus. Some members and other cyclists chose to race in both. If you want to take part in the iconic hill climb you need to have entered by 15-Oct-19 23:59. For club members you should note that PPYCC is a member of the CTT who are the officiating body and that categories for our members include Juveniles [12 – 15 years old] and Juniors [16 – 18 years old]. With a start list of 99 riders last year, PPYCC had 3 riders in the top 20 and Adam Churchill came 4th overall with a time of 4′.44″.
