PPYCC Track Records Day, Sat 24th Sept. We have always kept informal records of riders times from our distance challenge sessions but we don’t really have formal club record holders over set shorter distances. This was previously going to run in partnership with Brighton Mitre but unfortunately they had to defer until next season, but we’ll go ahead anyway and our youth riders can set some times for them to aim for!
PPYCC Club Championships, Sat 1st Oct. This will be contested at our normal Saturday morning sessions on 1st October. The races will be run in British Cycling age categories starting with Youth E (U8) and working up to Youth A (U16). Gear restrictions will apply in order that we have a level playing field, if you need assistance with gear restrictions then read this previous post and the coaching team can also advise on Saturday mornings too.
PPYCC AGM and Awards, Sat 12th November at Knoyle Church Hall, 3pm as usual with a big jumble sale, fun activities and of course the awards presentations, including some brand new awards for this season.
Please note that we had previously pencilled in a PPYCC Cyclo Cross Race for Sat 6th Nov but this will not be going ahead due to being unable to find a suitable venue, hopefully we’ll be back with a CX event next Autumn though.
