Tomorrow [11th April] there is a regular session at Preston Park cycle track [fingers crossed for passable weather, please dress warmly].
Saturday 18th April will be a practice session for our Youth Omnium which takes place the following Saturday.
Saturday 25th April is our Youth Omnium, this is a regional youth event and we will be joined by young riders from all over the south east of England. This is the biggest event we promote each year and we would like our experienced riders of any age to enter this event which is for fixed wheel track bikes only. This is part of a series of four races and the top 8 overall in the older categories [Under 12s and older] are invited to a national final at Manchester velodrome. For those not racing the only activities offered will be watching or helping. An entry form is attached to this message and pre-entry is £8 whereas entry on the day is £11.
Currently we have 16 entries from Palmer Park in Reading, 7 from VC Jubilee and 6 from Welwyn Wheelers and only 2 from Preston Park, so please get some more entries in fast!
