We have a road bike for sale which is an ‘old school’ road racing bike which would be great for a university student, or a fast shopping bike etc. The bike is not ancient, probably 1980s, but old enough to ride in the Strada Bianchi rides for vintage bikes.
It belongs to a past member of the Brighton Stanley cycling club, the oldest club in Brighton that [although no longer in existence] still has living members. We are selling it on behalf of the member, Neil Strawbridge, now in his 80s. In a Dutch Auction style the best bid in the next week will be given the bike. I have promised Neil £70, any excess goes to the club.
