For those riders who want to improve their circuit racing skills and fitness or thinking of giving circuit racing a go for the first time the Angmering Youth Race Series are perfect.
The races are run weekly on Monday evenings at Angmering Raceway go-kart circuit just past Worthing off the A27. The circuit is 300m long and with lots of corners not only great fun but fantastic for developing and improving skills.
The events are very friendly and informal and each evening is comprised of 4-5 short races : scratch race, time trial, handicap. Sign on is 6:00pm onwards with warm up time on the circuit before racing starts at 6:30pm.
Previous seasons have seen 20 riders attending split between Youth A/B and C/D/E. However, the number of riders are currently very low and the organisers really would like to see more local riders racing.
Many of our Outer Ring riders have used Angmering to great success in developing their skills, confidence and fitness before moving on to Regional and National racing and we cannot recommend these races highly enough.
