Well done to all Inner Ring riders who took part in today’s distance challenge, the last one of the season. There were some really great times including 4 personal bests which is no mean feat on such a breezy day! Particular mention must go to all of our new riders who were doing this activity for the first time, we know it’s a tough activity but it gives you a benchmark that you can now track your progress against over time. The coaches were all really impressed with your efforts, well done!
The Distance Challenge website page has more information including the Results Sheet, where your rides have been given Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum status against the club standards. Today’s results will also determine the Most Improved Rider awards for 2020, to be announced at the awards ceremony on Saturday 7th November.
Next week is the last track session of the season and will be much easier with games and fun races. The last few years we’ve had a Halloween themed session for the final Inner Ring, we’ll do a prize for the best outfit but please remember that it has to be safe to ride in!
