We are happy to promote for sale a bike from widely known local cycling enthusiast Katy.
Katy is selling a little-used 2008 van Nicolas Euros (Titanium).
Katy says: “Seatpost length: 50cm; horizontal top tube (it’s sloped) measurement also around 50cm. It has a longish stem which I did swap for a shorter one, but I’ve put a longer one back on to sell it. Ksyrium Elite wheels, Ultegra components (compact 2×10). I rode it for ten days in the Alps in 2008 and have ridden it on average only once or twice a year since then. It’s a responsive, frisky bike that needs a good rider to take it out on sportifs, big day rides, or possibly triathlons. I do have the original paperwork somewhere. It could work for a good young rider wanting a decent bike for a few years. I rode it with carbon Time road pedals (lovely, a little float) but as these are not very standard I was going to sell them separately for £80.
I think it would suit a rider 5″6-5″8. I’m asking £950 starting price.
PPYCC say this bike is excellent value but with quality very high this would really suit someone who is looking for a ‘bike for life,’ i.e. someone who has finished growing, as titanium bikes have no sell by date.
