PPYCC does not have a club Commissaire, an official who is able to officiate at our races. There are courses from time to time to train in this role which can remain quite low level or be followed through to international events. One course is shown below. As the sport of cycling is rapidly expanding, together with the number of members recognising the benefits from being a member of British Cycling, and taking up road racing, it is vitally important that we continue to expand and improve our officials as without them there wouldn’t be any road racing.
Please let Glyn Durrant know if you wish to attend this course as he will need to organise training material and lunch for you.
