Well done to all riders who raced at both sessions in the heat today and thanks to all the volunteers who stood out in the sun for several hours helping out.
At Inner Ring there was a distance challenge for those who did not take part in the one a few weeks ago on the day of the Children’s Parade. A particular mention to Ella for taking 2 mins 30 off her 18 lap PB and to Luke who took over 1 minute out of his 12 lap PB with a Platinum time and was only 3 seconds off Eddy’s club record!
At Outer Ring the riders completed a full Youth Omnium in 90 mins which should be a club record in itself! This involved a 1 lap TT, Scratch race, Elimination race, Match sprints and Points race across U12, U14 and U16 age categories. Final points results were are follows:
U16: Ingo 181, Albert 171
U14 : Felix 181, Alex 165, Charlie 159, Cooper 136, James 130, Gus 126, Thomas M 94
U12: Raphael 185, Thomas D 167, Seb 144
