The Save Preston Park Velodrome campaign is organising a ride on Saturday 5th September to raise awareness of the need for ongoing renovation and upkeep of the track to maintain it’s future use for cyclists and other sports. PPYCC very much support the campaign and would like to promote the ride on Saturday.
Therefore please note the following changes to this Saturday’s sessions:
INNER RING: The session will be held at the slightly later time of 09.30-11.00. Riders in this session, and parents/relatives/friends may then join the arriving ride to the Velodrome to show their support of the campaign if they wish.
OUTER RING: There will be no formal session for this group. Instead, riders are invitied to join the ride, meeting at Steine Gardens (pleasse note change of location for meeting point) at 10.00, to ride to the velodrome, arriving at approx. 11.00 for a group ride around the track. All relatives/friends are also welcome.
