The dust has settled and we can now look back on a fantastic day of racing.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to the army of volunteers who made the day happen. From the cake bakers to the weed trimmers, the elimination callers and the score keepers. Your contributions were hugely appreciated and vital for making the day such a success. We raised a mightily impressive £1200 to go into the clubs funds.
The racing itself was typically electric, if a little challenging with the high winds. There was a stand out breakaway win for Idha in the U16 girls scratch race. And Charlie Bunting absolutely dominated the U12 boys competition, winning all the events. A big well done to all PPYCC riders who competed; Eddy, Ben, Luca, Noah, Milo, Hadley, Idha, Alex, Gabriel, Felix, Megan, Charlie, Harley, Cooper, Raphael, Eliza, Vincent and Luke.
