This weekend, 8th July, PPYCC are hosting the 3rd round of the Sussex Inter Club Racing Cluster, and all Inner and Outer Ring riders who are newer to racing are invited to compete! There will be a series of races throughout the morning for all age groups from U8’s through to U16’s. Signing on opens at 9.00am, with racing, followed by prize giving, from 9.30-11.30am. PPYCC also look forward to welcoming Tim Sales, the British Cycling Regional Go Ride Coach, who will be supporting the club throughout the morning.
As this event is aimed at riders who are gaining expereince in racing, if you have been regularly competing in regional and national races for more than a season, then this event is not for you! However, it would be fantastic to have your support as Club Volunteers at the event, if you would like to join us please email me to let me know.
Alternatively, experienced riders who normally join the Outer Ring may like to organise their own, rider-led, road ride for the morning instead. Perhaps you could plan to finish your ride at the Velodrome in time to join us for prize giving?!
