The Velopace Butts Lane Hill Climb is an exciting new hill climb event in Willingdon near Eastbourne. The HQ is The Wheatsheaf Inn, Willingdon BN20 9HP.
Butts Lane is a challenging, medium distance climb and has been crying out for hill climbers to take a timed run at it for years.
Limited to only 120 entries and entries close soon. Under CTT race regulations you cannot enter on the day so please get your entry in now!

Joint Competition – ESCA Hill Climb
We’ve also teamed up with the ESCA Hill Climb at Firle Bostal, held on the morning of the 15th October, and are offering a cash prize of £50 to the fastest rider overall, entering both events, plus, for the fastest rider not winning another prize at either event, a pair of tickets to see Ned Boulting’s show Bikeology which will be on at The Hippodrome Eastbourne on November 13th.

Great for Spectators
Both of these events are ideal for spectators. Hill climbs attract cheering crowds who line the hill and encourage the brave riders to the top. The events are free to watch. With The Wheatsheaf Inn as HQ for the Velopace Butts Brow Hill Climb, there is food and drink available for the duration of the event and no doubt many riders and spectators will make a night of it.
