In Triathlon, Jojo has been selected to represent the SouthEast Region at the Inter Regional Championships at Holmepierrepont National Watersports Centre in Nottingham on 22nd August. This is the most prestigious triathlon event in the UK for kids. It starts with a dive into open water from a starting pontoon. After the 300m swim there is a 5km flat fast bike and finally a 1.8km run. He’s really pleased to have been selected – only 3 athletes get places in each age group and it’s his strong bike that has the basis of his success.
